Ultra Runner, Wife and Mom, Kami Semick Running With Molecular Fitness Kami Semick of Bend, Oregon, wife and mom, was always an avid runner but up until four years ago, she never fancied herself a competitive runner. Now she regularly runs 50k to 100k races all over the country and internationally. Currently Kami is in Chamonix for the UTMB 100k event. This event has 30,000 feet of elevation gain and 30,00 feet of descent, a total of 60,000 feet of elevation change - in one race! Kami has been taking the Molecular Fitness supplements for over two months now and is sure that "MineralConnexin supplements will be a game changer in this race." "Taking the minerals consistently over the last month or so has made my pH levels consistently higher and has helped me finish races and training stronger. I am excited to see how my legs feel during the UTMB race." In a National Championship 50 mile race last month during which Kami didn't take MineralConnexin, she and another racer battled it out for first place and Kami couldn't pull it off. "I'll always wonder what if I had taken MineralConnexin during the race because my body was so mineral depleted (from an intestinal virus the day prior)."
We wish Kami all the best at the UTMB race in Chamonix and we will update you, our members, with her results upon her return to the States. You can read about her preparation and racing experience on her blog at http://thenorthfaceeu.typepad.com/ultratrail/

One of the many significant advantages of an alkalinizing beverage, such as MineralConnexin, is that it will enhance athletic performance and endurance by helping to deliver more oxygen to all tissues, including muscle while simultaneously helping to conserve energy through enhanced carbon dioxide removal; thereby, leading to a slower breathing rate and less unnecessary expenditure of energy.
