<title>Soy Food Intake Reduces Risk of Colorectal Cancer</title>
<description>&amp;nbsp;The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition published a study from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and the National Cancer Institute that demonstrates that total soy food intake is inversely associated with a 8% reduction in cancer risk for each 1 oz dry weight&amp;nbsp; of soy product consumption per day.&amp;nbsp; Women in the highest tertile of intake had a relative risk of colorectal cancer which was reduced by 33%.</description>

<description>The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition published a study from University College London and the center for gerontology in Paris, France.&amp;nbsp; 5,131 adults were evaluated for body mass index (BMI) and cognition (Mini-Mental State Examination) from an age of 25 to an mean age of 61.&amp;nbsp; Researchers found that long-term obesity in adulthood is associated with reduced mental function such as memory, attention, learning, awareness and judgement.Referenced Study (Sabia, S et al)</description>
